please be advised that a new release (D93) of the HERE Location Suite is now available on the Production environment (PRD).
This email includes release notes that describe the improvements to the services in the new release. This release includes updates of: Geocoder API, Geocoder Autocomplete API, Traffic API, Positioning API, Custom Locations API, Custom Routes API, Geofencing API, Platform Data API, Route Matching API, Toll Cost Calculation API and Waypoints Sequencing API.
As well, we will publish the release documentation on the Developer Portal.
Management Summary
The release is mainly a maintenance release; highlights are:
- Improvements in Geocoder API for Argentina to add sub-districts.
- New data layers in Platform Data API.
- Added support for Incidents TML ver 2.4.
Geocoder API

- Improvements in Argentina to better support queries for sub-districts.
Traffic API
Version 6.0.73.0
- Added support for Incidents TML ver 2.4.
Positioning API
Version 1.6.0
- We removed the deprecated frequency parameter in the CDMA Network measurements object in the locate request body.
Platform Data API
Version 2.5.5
- New Layers STAB_TOPO_ID_FC1 … STAB_TOPO_ID_FC5 to map between Link IDs and their corresponding Stable Topology IDs with offset.
- New Layer FUELSTATION_POI providing information about gasoline, diesel and EV charging offerings.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS:
General Rules Related to HERE Materials and Applications
• Inline with HERE Platform core terms, please ensure that the users of your application build on HERE Mobile SDKs Premium Edition constantly download the latest map version within a couple of weeks after the new map release has been available.
New incidents endpoint for Traffic API
• In May 2017, new /traffic/6.2/incidents endpoint launched to support more incidents data
• The old endpoint /traffic/6.1/incidents is still available and will be supported at least for 6 months
Public Transit API refactoring
• In April 2017, Public Transit API version 3.0.0 released, following refactoring of all endpoints to a new format. The API endpoint format have been changed from https://transit.api.here.com/metarouter/rest/routeservice/v2/(resource) to https://transit.api.here.com/v3/(resource)
• For now, the coming releases will continue to support all deprecated endpoints (with old parameter names)
